Secrets Behind the Tone

Shifting the Tectonic Plates

The Tone control is where you reshape the whole landscape. Roll it counter-clockwise and the signal floods with a dark, chest-hitting low-end resonance—like massive cabinet arrays vibrating the floorboards of an underground venue, perfect for slow, lumbering, earth-shaking grooves. Sweep it clockwise and the edge sharpens into a biting upper-mid presence peak: an intense, high-density structural weapon that keeps your massive, layered chords fully articulate and sharply defined.

The Nuclear Option

The real heart of this pedal's hostility lives in one toggle: the "Fuck Me Up" preamp switch. Flip it and it forces a bruising +20 dB scream directly into the front gate of the circuit, tearing your signal into an untamed, tracking-heavy octave-up frequency that completely obliterates the gain stages—mutating a heavy, saturated wave into a monolithic, hard-clipped wall of glorious, harmonic noise.

What do the knobs actually do?

Fuzz

VR1

The main engine room for the four-transistor gain stage. A custom-calibrated control taper stretches out the circuit's sweet spot, letting you sweep seamlessly from a raw, spitting crunch up to a monolithic, endless wall of high-density saturated sustain that never collapses, sags, or loses its physical low-end punch.

Tone

VR2

A passive, multi-branch tone network wired directly into the heart of the physical germanium clipping stage. Counter-clockwise dials in a deep, dark, bass-heavy cabinet feel that maximizes sub-frequency mass; clockwise unlocks a biting upper-mid presence peak that slices your densest chords cleanly through the mix with razor-sharp authority.

Volume

VR3

A linear master output control packed with massive internal headroom. It delivers more than enough clean output level to hammer the input stage of a virtual tube amplifier, forcing the digital power tubes into a rich secondary compression and organic clipping.

"Fuck Me Up" Preamp Switch

SW1

The dedicated chaos modifier. Injects a massive +20 dB boost before the fuzz core even touches your guitar, then forces full-wave rectification to unleash a screaming octave-up texture, blocks the DC jolt, and hits an asymmetrical hard clip—mutating a heavy, saturated tone into a devastating, industrial-strength wall of pure sonic noise.
