Instrument
driveDrive into the JFET input booster at the front of the chain. It sets how hard the instrument hits the record path, controlling tape saturation and how much the repeats compress and bloom rather than acting as a simple level trim.

Echo Delay
delayTape speed and delay time. The longest head maps linearly from 130 ms to 650 ms, with the three heads placed at one-third, two-thirds, and the full selected time.

Comp Sustain
compSustainGlue-compressor sustain and threshold. Higher settings lower the threshold for more squash, keeping the dry-plus-echo blend lifted and letting repeats sustain longer.

Mode Select
modeSix-position tape-head selector. Choose head 1, head 2, head 3, heads 1+2, heads 2+3, or all three heads; the same selected heads are heard and fed back into the loop.

Comp Release
compReleaseGlue-compressor release from 40 ms to 800 ms. Low settings feel snappy and pump between notes; high settings recover smoothly and fuse the echoes together.

Echo Repeat
repeatFeedback and regeneration amount. It controls the number of repeats and reaches intentional self-oscillation near the top for runaway tape-echo effects.

Echo Volume
mixWet echo level against the dry signal, setting the practical wet/dry balance from subtle reinforcement to front-and-center repeats.

Cable Load
cableModels the high-frequency loss of the instrument cable feeding the unit, adding a subtle pre-booster treble roll-off and loading feel.

Wow & Flutter
wowflutterTape speed modulation: slow wow plus faster flutter, mostly aperiodic for a natural tape feel. Turn it up for audible pitch wobble on the repeats.
