The heart of how this amp behaves under your fingers. The power tubes share a single specialized cathode network, so when you play hard the circuit shifts their bias and drags them into a natural, reactive compression. It gives the amp an incredible physical "bounce" that fights back beautifully when you attack the strings.
There's no midrange knob on the panel. We modeled the original's passive tone network, which locks in a perfectly voiced, un-scooped midrange and keeps the bass and treble controls highly interactive—so your guitar always holds an authoritative pocket in the center of the mix.
What do the knobs actually do?
Your primary preamp driver. An integrated high-frequency bypass network keeps your tone bright, glassy, and articulate at lower settings, thickening into a rich crunch as you roll it up and push the preamp tubes.
Shapes the top-end bite and chime of the passive tone network, dialing in the exact amount of premium glass your pickups need to cut through a mix.
Adjusts the low-end girth and body of the circuit, keeping your tracks deep and grounded without ever losing definition.
Drives the power tube section directly. We modeled the authentic cross-linked behavior of the original, so the most dramatic dynamic compression and power-stage saturation happen early on the dial—letting you lock into the sweet spot instantly.
