Eggs & Beans Booster

The skinny bite

and the big

warm push.

Schematic parameters

What do the knobs actually do?

Circuit Selector

SW1

Toggles between two independent analog paths. Rangemaster is a vintage germanium treble booster that focuses your mids and highs while tightening the lows—ideal for making a dark humbucker sing (true to the hardware, it inverts phase). EP is a rich discrete preamp boost with warm, three-dimensional projection and a subtle top-end chime that makes everything sound bigger.

Boost

VR1

The main engine room. Whichever circuit is selected, turning it up pushes more pure gain into your signal. Both paths are calibrated to hit the same volume at default, so your gain staging stays intact when you swap flavors.

Bright Switch

SW2

EP only. Injects pristine top-end clarity into the preamp—great for reviving dull strings or adding a glassy sheen to rhythm tracks.

Fat Switch

SW3

EP only. Instantly thickens your low-end—the tool for single-coil players who want bridge-pickup weight and authority without losing single-coil character.
