The Siamese Dumplings is our love letter to the massive, high-gain luxury that defined the alternative guitar revolution of the early 1990s. Inspired by the late-70s operational-amplifier topology that abandoned traditional transistors for integrated circuits, this pedal delivers the exact harmonic cream and heavy, violin-like sustain immortalized on iconic Smashing Pumpkins records. By modeling its four cascaded gain blocks and the unique triple antiparallel diode feedback architecture, we’ve captured a square-edged, beautifully compressed fuzz that stays perfectly uniform no matter how hard you strum. It provides an ocean of thick, saturated texture that glues chords together into an infinite sheet of sound, shaped by a classic passive tone network that can be completely cut out of the circuit for a raw, mid-forward frontal assault.

Sustain

VR1

The structural density engine. Rather than just adding raw volume, it pushes the internal op-amp stages into deep, interlocked diode compression. Turning it clockwise thickens the wave shape, melting individual notes and heavy chords into an unbroken, velvet sheet of infinite sustain.

Tone

VR2

The classic passive frequency network. It beautifully cross-fades between a dark, woolly bass branch and a bright, glassy treble branch, allowing you to sweep through that legendary, deeply scooped mid-range profile to find the perfect mix placement.
