Kaikuja isn't a room, a hall, or a plate — it's a swarm. Instead of one smooth decay it scatters your signal into a cloud of tuned, self-feeding echoes that bloom, drift, and pitch around the note, somewhere between a reverb, a granular delay, and an ambient synth. At gentle settings it's a lush, diffuse ambience that sits behind your playing — haunting, ambient echoes that hang in the air and drift away long after you've stopped. Push the controls and it takes off: long feedback tails that never quite resolve, modulated shimmer, and dark, damped washes that swallow the dry signal whole. Then there's the dBow — our built-in artificial eBow, tucked behind the footer switch and off until you call for it. It listens to the pitch of whatever you play, then re-drives a resonant string loop in phase with the note, exactly the way a real eBow feeds energy back into a string. The result is endless, singing sustain: pick a note and it just keeps going, blooming into a bowed, vocal drone that never decays. Its own Sustain, Drive, Tone, and Attack shape how hard it pushes and how it speaks — and it feeds straight into the swarm, so a single held note can grow into a whole evolving pad. Built for ambient, cinematic, drone, and post-rock textures, Kaikuja turns a single note into an evolving soundscape — as much an instrument as an effect.
